EJ McCoy is the Co-Founder and CEO of Scoop Soldiers, Chorbie, & other service-oriented businesses. At the young age of 8 years old, he was “voluntold” by his mother to mow his neighbor’s yard. Not exactly the dream of a young kid from Allen, Texas.
Established in late 2010 by Josh Cahill and EJ McCoy in McKinney, TX, Scoop Soldiers expanded first in Texas and then throughout the country between 2010 and 2019 as a corporate operation. In 2019, Scoop Soldiers Franchise Company was established to help grow the brand and create more pet waste millionaires through the unique business model of franchising. Scoop Soldiers provides pet waste removal services to over 110 territories across the US. As of today, the company boasts $62 million in lifetime revenues.
Established in 2019, Chorbie is a home services company with over 7,000 clients in the DFW Metroplex, that offers lawn mowing, lawn care, pest control, termite, sprinkler repair, and ongoing pool maintenance. Its total lifetime revenues to date are $57+ million. Chorbie’s roots date back to 2006 when EJ McCoy established his first company, which operated as Emerald Lawn Care (2008-2015) and Weed Xtinguishers (2016-2019).
Established by Pet Waste Millionaire Ron Battaglia in 2004, Executive Lawn Care is one of the top lawn mowing companies in the DFW Metroplex. Its total lifetime revenues exceed $25 million. In 2014, Executive Lawn Care was purchased by EJ McCoy and Josh Cahill. In 2019, Ron Battaglia became the first Scoop Soldiers franchisee. He is affectionately known as “Grandpa.”
