The TPIG, or Turning Poop Into Gold, Takeover Tour is a 2+ year journey the Scoop Soldiers team is embarking on with two agendas. Number one, we want to raise awareness of the Pet Waste Removal industry. To this day, most homeowners with pets don’t know that a pet waste removal service is something you can pay for. And that’s what Scoop Soldiers is all about: taking the stink out of pet ownership and helping homeowners buy their time back. But we don’t just want to bring awareness to the industry, we want to also sell our services to both residential and commercial clients! That’s objective two, generate new business for the brand and help our franchisees grow their businesses.
Believe it or not, the Turning Poop Into Gold (TPIG) Takeover Tour started as a joke. The media team and EJ McCoy were discussing a strategy on documenting the recent major expansion, where Scoop Soldiers Franchising doubled their franchise territory count in 2023. Our Media Producer cracked a joke that the team should get in a wrapped bus and replicate the Road Rules TV show and document us going to all of the Scoop Soldiers franchised locations talking about the industry. There was silence, there was laughter, there was doubt, and ultimately… a 43-foot motorhome was purchased and here we are! For ‘logistical’ purposes, a second vehicle was needed to go on the tour. Sure, a Ford Maverick would have been a perfect solution – especially since the Scoop Soldiers team has plenty of them. They are already wrapped and get incredible fuel economy. But, this is the Pet Waste Millionaire we’re talking about here. So, naturally the decision was made to completely customize a Jeep Wrangler to accompany the bus wherever it went. A little much? We don’t disagree, but we’re also in charge here and we like to have fun!

While we are on tour, we will be doing a few different things. We will be attending pet-related & general community events. We have an entire booth setup for both Scoop Soldiers and the Pet Waste Millionaire brands. The team has various apparel, print material, and prizes we give away at every event we attend! We also view everything as an adventure and like to have a good time, so we bring games and good energy everywhere we go!
In addition to attending events, we will also be doing some targeted marketing to raise awareness to the pet waste removal industry by simply getting out in the communities we currently serve to advertise our brand and services. Our media team has produced a docuseries on YouTube sharing our journey across the U.S. Along with producing the show, we are also producing a podcast in every city we go to! We want to connect with entrepreneurs in the pet-related and home services industries.
Throughout 2024, the team will be in over 30 major cities across the United States in our fully wrapped 43-foot motorhome and fully wrapped Jeep Wrangler.
